Will you update Profis to calculate biaxial shear interaction rather than calculating the resultant force and applying it to the worst case edge condition? This is too conservative.

Will you update Profis to calculate biaxial shear interaction rather than calculating the resultant force and applying it to the worst case edge condition? This is too conservative.

For shear forces acting in 2 directions, Profis computes the resultant shear and applies the resultant shear to the worst case edge condition.

The shear forces in x and y directions should be checked separately for their respective edge conditions. The separate shear force stress ratios should be used in the tension-shear interaction expression.

Thank you for the feedback, I will pass this along to our team developping the software. We understand you want improvement into our Anchoring software solutions. We are working on what we need to improve in our next versions and we are going to take these into consideration.
Would you be willing to participate in a short call with our anchoring experts, we would like to discuss your points.
They would love to go deeper and understand how we can get better.
If yes, please, answer me through direct message, and I'll make sure they get in touch you.
