Dear Customer,

well this is a good question. There are two situations to look at for temperature exposure. During installation and curing of the adhesive, and after the full cure of the adhesive. During installation and curing, refer to the working / cure time tables in the Manufacturer’s Printed Installation Instructions (MPII) that comes with each adhesive packet. This shows the minimum and maximum concrete temperature permitted during installation and the associated cure time for the product. After fully cured, refer to the product specific ICC-ES ESR (i.e. ESR-3814 for HIT-RE 500 V3 and ESR-3187 for HIT-HY 200) for the in-service temperature range that is permitted. There will be reductions in bond stress for higher temperatures and the product specific ESR will show the maximum service temperature for the product. In colder temperatures, once the product is cured the published load values for these Hilti products will be applicable in base material temperatures down to -40°F/C. Don't hesitate to contact us if there is anything else we can do for you.

Kind Regards
Justin
