Using PAF in wood base plates
What PAF's are recommended for use with treated wood base plates (borate treatment excluded) to ensure the fasteners don't deteriorate due to the wood treatment?

Dear Customer,
thank you for your question. Hilti and perhaps other manufacturers offer a “thick mechanically plated” PAF, similar to hot-dipped galvanized. In Hilti’s case the coating is >86 microns, which is acceptable for use with pressure treated lumber with no moisture exposure. I hope I have answered your question.
