Hilti USA recommended to our VIP customer, making a galvanized steel box, in the window manufacturing process, where the fire protection system including mineral wool and CFS-S SIL fire-resistant sealant is placed. The silicone seals a specific part of the window where the mineral wool is found, that is, the mineral wool is encapsulated in the galvanized steel box and sealed with the fireproof sealant. We need you for the following support:
1. How it is applied
2. What care should be taken
3. Teaching video or installation manual.
4.UL for this application
Thanks in advance.

Hello Miguel,
Thanks for reaching out to us on ask Hilti.
The system I have attached below (HI-BPF 120-10) is the only system we have that requires silicone sealant around the framing of the back pan. The system describes how to install in in section 2E. As far as I know, we do not currently have any installation videos for this system. However, if you would like to call in and speak with myself or any of the other engineers we can walk you through it.
Other systems that look a little closer to you detail are HI-BPF 120-09 or HI-BPF 120-12. However, neither of these system use silicone sealants.
If none of these systems will work for your application please submit an Engineering Judgement request.
Thanks and have a good day.
