Is there a preferred Power Actuated Fastener system for overhead installation?

Andrew,
There will not be a preferred powder-actuated fastener for overhead use, as there are a variety of factors that will need to be accounted for in the design phases of the project. A good starting point would be Section 3.2.2 “General Application Fasteners” in the 2015 Direct Fastening Technical Guide (https://submittals.us.hilti.com/PTGVol1/#28), which will help to narrow down the products to consider.
