Tom,

In these situations, customers have marked these installations for further investigation, as well as possible onsite evaluation to determine if the fastening is acceptable. This could include, but is not limited to: (1) verifying that the fixture is clamped against the surface of the base material. (2) checking the embedment depth (concrete/CMU) or point penetration (steel) of the fastener, (3) analysis of the concrete to verify no splitting/spalling. Ultimately, it will be an engineering judgement by you or the design engineer to verify the acceptability of the fastener for the project.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Regards,

Bryan
