Yahya,

The PROFIS Anchor Design Software is available for use to assist designers with the design of their anchor system based on some assumptions (https://submittals.us.hilti.com/PROFISAnchorDesignGuide/#349), and will rely on the inputs provided by the designer for evaluation. It is common to see that designers will use other references (ex. ACI, IBC, ASCE, etc.) and/or software (ex. RISA, FEA) in conjunction with the PROFIS Anchor output. In all instances, it will be up to the designer on the project to verify which software/references to use in their design.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Regards,

Bryan

Thanks, The fist major problem when dealing with anchors is to choose the right product and most common product. Is there a simple way to find the most suitable product ?

Yahya,

There is not a quick reference for the "most common" product to be used in applications; however, if you use the "Calculation" tab in PROFIS Anchor, it will assist with the selection of the anchors that meet the design criteria.  In addition, you can reference the Hilti Anchor Selection Chart (https://submittals.us.hilti.com/PTGVol2/#6) to narrow down your options.
