While other details explicitly reference the term "Computer Cables" and some even reference "Cat 5" or "Cat 6" cables neither C-AJ-3095, or System No. C-AJ-3216 use these terms for their list of acceptable penetrants.

Hello Robert,

C-AJ-3095 allows for any cables that are UL rated.  So you should be good to use C-AJ-3095 as long as your Cat 5 and Cat 6 cables are UL rated.

C-AJ-3216 does not list that "any UL rated cables" under the cable callout.  So, if you want to use this system with your Cat 5 and Cat 6 cables, we will need to provide a solution in the form of an engineering judgement.  If you want to go this route, please fill out the attached form and submit to the email listed on the form.

Best Regards,
Cody

Cody,
Thanks for the quick response.

One more question, When you say UL rated I am assuming you mean that it meets the requirements oj J & K from the detail. Can you confirm?

Thanks again
