Interior Putty Pads
Can I use the putty pads inside the boxes instead of surrounding them? How thick are they? The electrical contractor forgot to install the protection around the boxes in one of the walls and I'm trying to have a product that is thin and accomplish the objective of firestopping.

Good morning Dario,
The putty pads are designed and tested for installation on the exterior of the box. The Hilti Firestop Box Insert are designed and tested for installation within the box. Please see attachment for installation instructions on the box insert.
