As seen from the product approvals, there is a specified drilled hole diameter that will be required for all Hilti anchors. If the hole size is smaller or larger than required, there could be adverse effects on the anchor capacity, and it would be up to the design engineer of record to evaluate and determine if the anchor system would still be applicable. In addition, it would be advisable to speak to your local Hilti representative for additional information.
