Mamunur:

The minimum effective embedment depth for a ½” diameter KB-TZ is 2” and the minimum member thickness is 4”. The minimum spacing for a ½” diameter KB-TZ is 2-3/4” provided that the minimum critical edge distance is a greater than or equal to 2-3/4”.  Technical information for the KB-TZ can be found on page 279 of our 2017 online edition of our Anchor Fastening Technical Guide. Table 1 on page 281 provides minimum embedment depths and Table 5 on page 283 shows the geometry constraints for edge distance and spacing. In general, if you require minimum spacing you will need an increased edge distance. Link for our Anchor Fastening Technical Guide: https://submittals.us.hilti.com/PTGVol2/#1 Our PROFIS Anchor software is another option for evaluating anchor capacities: https://www.hilti.com/content/hilti/W1/US/en/engineering/software/profis/profis-anchor.html
