How do I know which building code governs on my construction project?

Thank you for reaching out to us. The governing building code will typically be shown on an Architectural code sheet and/or with the General Structural Notes. These are usually at the first sheets in the Architectural or Structural series of drawings. Building Code information may also be shown in the zero sections of the project Specifications. For clarification ask the Architect, Structural Engineer or an official with the Authority Having Jurisdiction. Please feel free to reach out any time, if you need additional information.
