Creep and Pretension

In the Hilti Anchor 102 webinar there is a creep slide. How does the load applied compare to bolt pretension at recommended Hilti installation torque? Can adhesive anchors maintain bolt pretension?

Hi Adam,

The installation torque published for Hilti adhesive anchors is a maximum rather than a recommended torque. Keep in mind, this does not apply to HIT-HY 200 with HIT-Z rods since HIT-Z rods are torque-controlled. The loads achieved from the testing performed accounts for the published torque values. Additionally, please refer to this answer from a previous question regarding creep.

Regards,
Paris

Adam,

The published loads achieved from the testing performed accounts for the maximum torque values.
