Can use wire rope 1/2" dia. with 18" embbedment and have the same pullout strenght as a 1/2" dia. ASTM A 615 Gr. 60 rebar ??? the load capacity tables for HY 200 has #4 at 10" embedment, 11700 lbs. or can i use 2 - #5 18" embedment. at 2x 18,135 lbs..????

i need to attach cable with a minimum braeking strength ox 24,000 lbs. in tension.

Simeon,

Hilti will only have test data for using threaded rods/rebar/internally threaded inserts with Hilti’s adhesive anchors. If you are wanting to use an anchor element outside of that, it will be up to the judgement of the design engineer, or engineer of record on the project, to evaluate and verify if the anchor would be applicable for the project.
