Can I use the HSL-I for cracked concrete, seismic and ESR?

Does the HSL-I Internally Threaded Expansion Anchor have ICC Evaluation Service Report? Has the HSL-I been tested for cracked concrete or seismic applications?

Dear Customer,

well this is a good question. The HSL-I does not have an ICC ESR. The HSL-I M12 65/80 anchor was developed for anchoring telecom rack and cabinet systems and was tested to meet industry requirements at that time. The HSL-I passed Telecordia NEBS GR-63-CORE Zone 4 earthquake level qualification testing. The Telecordia testing occurred prior to the adoption of cracked concrete and seismic testing referenced in ACI 318, ACI 355.2 and ICC AC193. Additional information is available in the Hilti Anchor Fastening Technical Guide. I hope I have answered your question. If there is anything else, please let me know.

Kind Regards
Jerrod
