In the Product Technical Guide(PTG), epoxy anchors are presented with two sets of fixture hole requirements. One is used for pre-set condition and the other for through set condition. However, expansion anchors is presented with a single set of fixture hole requirement. For what condition does the hole fixture requirement for the expansion anchor apply?

In regards to mechanical anchors, the minimum fixture hole diameter (dh) will be for either a pre-set or a through set condition for the anchor. This is based on testing of the product, as there is an increase in the size for adhesive anchor elements to prevent the anchor element (mainly rebar) from getting caught up in the fixture plate when attempting to be installed into the adhesive.
