Can you use ACI 318-14 with PROFIS Rebar?

Well this is a good question. PROFIS Rebar calculations are based on the development and splice provisions given in ACI 318-11 Chapter 12. Per the ACI Transition Key for ACI 318-11 to ACI 318-14 and ACI 318.2-14, the development and splice provisions that are given in ACI 318-11 Chapter 12 and used by PROFIS Rebar to calculate tension and compression development/splice lengths have not changed in ACI 318-14.
PROFIS Rebar calculations for special moment frames and special structural walls are based on provisions given in ACI 318-11 Chapter 21. Per the ACI Transition Key for ACI 318-11 to ACI 318-14 and ACI 318.2-14, the provisions used in PROFIS Rebar to calculate development lengths for special moment frames and special structural walls have not changed in ACI 318-14.
